EYS GK3000-2 compost turner is designed to convert dried manure into valuable compost by turning the bulk manure periodically. Turning the dry manure breaks it into homogenous particles and facilitates the formation of small air pockets within the bulk manure. This is essential for the chemical reactions to take place that are required for a high quality compost. With EYS GK3000-2, you can achieve excellent quality compost within only a fraction of the time that would be required if the manure were left alone.

EYS GK3000-2 is operated with a tractor. It connects to the tractor's rear creep-gear shaft to receive mechanical power from it. In transport mode, GK3000-2 stands up vertically on its transport wheel by means of hydraulic pistons. This allows for increased maneuverability and easy transportation of the machine. The turner is lowered back to its operational position again by a smooth hydraulic movement. All functions of the machine are controlled by the tractor driver through a customized control panel. GK3000-2 moves over the windrow at an adjustable speed (0-300m/hr) as defined by the operator. The drum mixes and pushes the manure from outside of the bulk towards the middle, leaving a well-defined windrow behind.This way a very neat and homogenous compost mixture is formed as the compost turner moves forward.

EYS GK3000-2 comes equipped with a liquid tank and an integrated spray system. This enables spraying water or other liquids into the material as it is being turned, either to add moisture or to provide necessary nutrients to the compost. The pump sprays the liquid it takes from the attached tank through nozzles located on top of the tunnel, towards the drum (i.e. onto the compost material). The capacity of the standard spray tank is 800 liters.
